My name is Mrs. LaShonda Hockley and I have a love for education. I'm going into my 9th year of teaching. I started my teaching career in first grade at Ben Milam Elementary in Bryan TX. I have taught at Converse Elementary, in first grade, for 9 years and so excited to be in fourth grade again. I'm even more excited to be teaching Math and Science. I have so many exciting things to share with my students this year. My goal this year is to learn as much as I teach, and have fun while doing it!

I graduated in 2010 from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi, with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisplinary Studies degree. December 2018, I graduated with a Masters in Education with a reading Certificate. I am continuing my education by attending trainings and professional development courses. I believe learning is a life-long process and i can't wait to share my love for education with my students. 

This school year is going to be filled with a lot of learning and fun!! ♥♥
