Hey there, my name's Mrs. Wright;
my sixth year so far's a delight!
   I help kids love to read
   (it's possible, indeed!)
and show them they are indeed bright.

Year 6 at JMS is underway! I'm Mrs. (Always) Wright, and I teach 7th grade Reading/Language Arts, both regular and honors.

A little about me: I graduated in 2010 from East Central High School, and ventured to the east coast to attend college at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. I graduated in 2014 with my Bachelor's degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. After two years of working in a university library, I moved back to my hometown of San Antonio in 2016. I began my career teaching at Judson Middle School in 2017. I have taught 7th graders every year (some are shocked when they hear this) and have learned to embrace them in every way. I love reading and writing, and I love teaching them even more! 

I'm so excited to continue on this adventure of a school year, where I will do my best to turn as many students into lovers of learning every day, by giving them opportunities to pursue their interests and connect it all back to RLA.
