I am Nurse Amy and I am very excited for this school year.

 

A little about me. 

 

I have two children. I enjoy watching them play sports and traveling. Prior to becoming a school nurse, I was a Labor and Delivery nurse from 1999-2018.  I graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Women and children's health is my passion. I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity to care for your children during school. Please don't hesitate to contact the clinic for anything I can do to help your child during the day.

 

Every year your child will be screened for vision and hearing. This is done at the beginning of the year to ensure your child has the support they need to have a successful year.

In addition, the 5^th grade girls will be screened for scoliosis to help our students and parents plan for early intervention, if needed.

Timelines:

All forms signed by a doctor are good for the current school year. New forms will be needed the following school year.
