TEA Offers End of Year Optional Assessment

  • The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has partnered with Pearson to design an Optional End of Year Assessment. These assessments are an optional tool schools and parents can use to measure student progress and understanding of the statewide curriculum, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), taught this school year.  Judson ISD has opted not to administer this test to our students. However, parents may independently register and test their students, and view test results!  Parents may visit TEA's website for registration information.  Pearon's AVOCET site has additional resources.

Assessment Resources

  • The Assessment Team supports the Judson ISD community by providing support, information, and technical assistance for federal, state, and local assessments.  The Assessment Team guides campus and district staff to ensure valid and effective implementation of test administrations and timely dissemination of test results.

    Out-of-District/Out-of-School Registration

STAAR EOC Out of School testing allows examinees who are no longer enrolled in school to take an assessment during a test administration at a participating district. Assessment results of Out of School testers are sent to the home addresses provided and to the districts that will be providing examinees their diplomas.

STAAR Out of District testing allows students who will be away from their home districts for a test administration to take an assessment at a participating district. Assessment results of Out of District testers are sent to the students' home districts.
