Ms. Nicole Moriel

My name is Nicole Moriel, and I am proud to be starting the beginning of my career at Woodlake Hills Middle School! I am from Eagle Pass, Texas, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio. This will be my second year at Woodlake Hills, and I am looking forward to working together with every parent as a partner in your child’s growth and development!

Ms. Moriel completed her undergraduate degree in Music Education with a certificate in Music Performance from The University of Texas at San Antonio, under the instruction of Dr. Rachel Woolf. At UTSA, she performed and recorded with the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Combos, and Spirit of San Antonio on both Flute and Trombone. Ms. Moriel has also taught master classes and private lessons in Northside ISD, and was a member of the Sandra Day O'Connor High School Marching Band visual staff from 2020-2021.

Ms. Moriel conducts the Symphonic Band and Concert band, and assists with the Honors Band. She also teaches beginning flute, clarinet, and saxophone. Ms. Moriel continues to perform various styles of music as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist in different venues around the city.
