     First Sergeant Joshua A. Garcia is a native of San Antonio, TX.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1999 and attended Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, where he graduated as a Healthcare Specialist (68W).
