Instructional Materials Department
Instructional Materials Department serves campuses in a variety of ways. The Instructional Materials funding known as the Instructional Materials Allotment is managed by the Instructional Materials District Committee. The state adoption of instructional materials is part of the roles and responsibilities of the Instructional Material Department. Campus Administrators may request additional materials through the IM Committee by attending a monthly meeting to present the request. The Instructional Materials Coordinator in Judson ISD oversees the instructional materials management software known as TIPWeb.
The evaluation and adoption of instructional materials under Proclamation 2017 will occur during the 2016-17 school year. The adopted materials are scheduled to be available for use beginning in the 2017-2018 school year.
The Records Department is comprised of one officer who is assigned as the "Custodian of Records". The primary responsibility of Custodian of Records is maintaining files on all student and employee records. The Custodian of Records responds to subpoenas where student and/or employee records are requested through the court system. This responsibility includes gathering data and records, reviewing for completion and insuring that all follow-up information is attached.
