THE BASICS:

Hi! I’m Mrs. Barna, your child’s homeroom teacher as well as their reading and social studies teacher.  This is my 16th year teaching in Judson ISD and my 13th teaching Language Arts. I have two daughters, one of whom was an Olympia student.  So I am where you are now, and look forward to being the kind of teacher to your child that I expected for my own. 

MY BACKGROUND:

I was raised up in the Air Force, so we moved around quite a lot, but often found our way back to Randolph AFB and Universal City. Although I didn’t attend Olympia myself, I am a JISD alum as I attended Kitty Hawk back when it was in 7-9th grade. I graduated from high school in England, and once my family retired back at Randolph, I made San Antonio my home. I went to college here and earned my masters degree in Elementary Education.
