Hi! My name is Mrs. Julia Bruner. I was born in Harlingen Texas and I live in Adkins (it’s a small town outside of Bexar County) with my amazing family. I enjoy hiking and spending time with family while we are taking care of our animals at home. I will be your child’s third grade teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. This will be my 15th year teaching and my seventh year at Olympia Elementary. I am excited to make this my best year yet!

I have been blessed with a great family. I have two children that also get to call Olympia Elementary their home school. My son’s name is Elijah, and he will be in fourth grade. My daughter’s name is Victoria, and she will be in second grade. We have a great dog named Eevee and a cat named Nova.

In May of 2007, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Math from Texas State University. I started out only teaching math at Kitty Hawk Middle School. I worked at Kitty Hawk for 8 years. I moved between teaching 6th and 7th grade. I moved to Olympia and started teaching 5th grade math and now 3rd grade.
