My name is Liane Richardson and I am so excited to be an Olympia Unicorn! I would love to share some information about myself with you. 

I grew up here in San Antonio and I am a PROUD product of the Judson Independent School District, as I attended Kirby Elementary School (now Hopkins Elementary), Kirby Junior High, and Judson High School.  While traveling the world from Germany to Tennessee, I received my Bachelor's degree from The University of Maryland.  I am the mom to two beautiful and amazing children, Lily and Jude, and a spoiled chihuahua, Lucy. When I am not at school, I LOVE building memories with my family. I also enjoy reading, traveling, camping, and antiquing, but my biggest hobby is running!  I have run several half marathons, full marathons, and ultra marathons!  Recently, I reached my running dream and ran the Boston Marathon in April 2023!!

I have been teaching since 2011. I am an RTI teacher (Response to Intervention) and I work with all grade levels. Previously, I taught third grade; fourth grade math, science, and writing; and fifth grade math and science.  I am a sponsor of the running club, track, and I am on the Math Committee.
