Hello and welcome to 6th and 7th grade Mathematics! My name is Lauren Martinez.  I was born in the Rio Grande Valley, but have lived in San Antonio since 1998. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008.  I worked for McDonalds for 18 years and became an Assistant/Training Manager for my Owner Operator's four stores.  Even though I was the General Manager for the last two years of my employment with McDonalds, I enjoyed my role as Training Manager the most!   I have always loved teaching!  Since then, I have received my Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL) certifications.   This will be my fourth year teaching and my fourth year at Judson Middle School.  I am so excited to be starting a new school year and am looking forward to a productive and successful year!
