Hello parents and students!  My name is Paul Scott.  I have been an educator for 23 years, all in the Judson Independent School District.  This is my eigth year at JECA and I couldn't be more excited to share my passion for mathematics with your child. Thank you for this opportunity.

 

I grew up in a military family traveling all over the world but finally settling down in San Antonio in 1992.  I graduated from Madison High School in 1997 before moving on to Southwest Texas State University.  While attending SWT I studied mathematics and received my Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus in Mathematics in 2001.  My minor was in Exercise Sports Science.

 

From that point forward I spent 15 years teaching upper level Algebra 1 at Kitty Hawk Middle School before accepting the Math Department chair/Algebra 2 position at the Judson Early College Academy in 2016.  

 

I look forward to the challenges that are ahead and I'm very proud of you/your child for taking on the responsibilities that come with receiving a high school and college degree simultaneously.
