Welcome to Ms. Patience's Resource Class.  I can't wait to get this school year rolling!  We have lots to learn in Math, Reading, and Language Arts!  I believe in working together as a team: Students, Parents, General Education Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and myself to prepare your child for their future.

I am a product of Judson ISD, entering Kindergarten at Live Oak Elementary (Ed Franz was my Assistant Principal), moving on to Kitty Hawk and then graduating Judson High School in 1988.  I am thrilled to be able to give back to my childhood district.

I am a graduate of Wayland Baptist University, and this is my 12th year teaching wonderful children.  My first year and half, I taught third grade in Pearsall ISD.  Eleven years ago I returned to the Judson Family, this time as a teacher.  I became a Special Education teacher at Converse Elementary, and found my love of teaching! I was with Converse for 7 years. Two of those years, I  taught 4th grade and 3rd grade Math and Science. I joined the Escondido Lions family in 2017, our first year as a new school.  I am certified in ESL/Generalist EC-6, Special Education and General Education EC-4.  I have learned so much working with my students and look forward to learning more during this school year.

I have three adult daughters, who have blessed me with three beautiful grandchildren.  To complete my family, I have two rescue dogs, Romeo and Juliet, as well as Lily, a cat, who goes to bed every night in her kennel.   

 I look forward to a great year working together for the benefit of our children!
