Hello, my name is Vanessa Torres.  I am happily married for 16 years and we have three beautiful children, two boys and a little girl.  I am originally from Eagle Pass, TX, but currently reside in San Antonio.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of the Incarnate Word and later received a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.  I have been in Bilingual Education for 16 years and my love for education continues to grow everyday.  Not only do I love teaching, I also have a love for baseball.  Both of my boys play travel ball with the San Antonio Angels and my little girl will begin to play this year.  If I am not at school, I am at the baseball field.
