Welcome to Kirby Middle School CTE. I am the Principles of Construction teacher. I will be teaching construction/carpentry classes. I am excited to be able to work in the brand new building for the CTE classes at Kirby Middle School. My background in carpentry is working 18 years in the building trades. I completed a four-year apprenticeship with the Chicago District Council of Carpenters & received my journeymen card in 2001. During my tenure in the union, I've had experience in concrete, rough framing, trim, & millwork. I hold multiple certifications in the trades and medical/emergency training background as well.
