I am looking forward to my first year at Judson Middle School and nineteenth year teaching!
I graduated from Texas State University in May 2002 with my Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Interdisciplinary Studies. I earned the Jordan Ford award for Outstanding Graduate when I completed my Master of Education degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2013. After 19 years of teaching, I still look forward to each year. I have a passion for helping students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
I teach Project Lead the Way Gateway to Technology4 (GTT 4). My class covers 3 units. In our first unit, Magic of Electrons, students will gain knowledge and skills in basic circuitry design, and examine the impact of electricity on the world around them. Energy and the Environment is our second unit that will require students to design and model alternative energy sources and evaluate options for reducing energy consumption. In our last unit, Science of Technology, students will apply the concepts of physics, chemistry, and nanotechnology to STEM activities and projects.
My planning time is 9:15-10:00 am
Monday and Wednesday 4:00-4:30
