Hello! I am the Life Skills teacher here at Olmypia Elementary and I am so excited for this 2023-2024 school year!

Here is a little bit about me.

I was born in San Antonio, Texas on Lackland Air Force base. In third grade, my family and I moved to Lompoc, California for two years. In 2001, my father received orders to move to Ramstein, Germany. I went to middle and high school overseas and graduated from Kaiserslautern High School in 2009. I moved back to Texas to pursue my bachelors degree at Texas State University. After graduating, I landed my first job as a ABA technician at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders. I immediately loved my job and wanted to continue to work with kiddos who had unique needs and abilities. My job as an ABA therapist led to me becoming a paraprofessional and then gaining my certification to be a certified Texas teacher. I graduated with my  Masters degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2020. The kids really are the best part of the day. I always get to learn something new.
