Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. González

My name is Lydia Gonzalez, and I am proud to be a Spanish teacher at Judson High school. I am from Mexico, received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Instituto Tegnologico de Piedras Negras, and a Master's in Publishing and Marketing from Instituto Tecnologico in Malaga, Spain. After a few years in the U.S., I obtained a Bachelor's and a Master's in Arts with a concentration in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

This will be my third year teaching and I have a true passion for working with our youth!! Helping each student's progress in all areas of their development-academic, social, motor and language- is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of students that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.

Personally, I enjoy reading, music, cooking, going to the movies, traveling, relaxing at the beach and spending time with my family and friends. My family and I love pets. We have a total of 5 miniature schnauzers, and sometimes we take care of my relatives and friends' dogs. The house is crazy but fun with 12 dogs running around the patio and inside the house.
