My name is Yvonne R. Gaines. I was born in Temple, Texas and my family was military when we moved to San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from L.W. Fox Tech High School. I attended Prairie View A&M where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education. My 34 years of Elementary school teaching included Public Education, Christian Education and in a Charter School District for several years as well. I am currently (retired and returned) teaching PK3 ….and loving it. I have a passion for teaching, and I love, love, love kids. Therefore, I adopted 3 children.

My family includes one wonderful and amazing brother, 5 awesome kids…3 boys 41, 20, and 19 and 2 girls 31 and 18 and one fantastic and beautiful 10-year-old granddaughter. My family is my happy place.
