My name is Mrs Diana Jacks.   I graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science; Magne Cum Laude.  I became a certified classroom teacher K-12.  This is my 1st year at Kirby Middle School and I have been teaching this grade for twenty-five years.  I will be a co-teacher in 6th & 7th grade for Reading & Writing for the upcoming school year!  

I am the oldest of 7 children; born and raised in San Antonio.  My heritage is Spanish.  I am grandmother of my beautiful granddaughter Lillyanna, that's 7 years old.  I live with my husband Burl of 33 years and Cocoa Puff, my 1 & 1/2 year old chocolate lab with green eyes.

I look forward to working with our staff and parent(s) and get to know your children and help them succeed in their education and participation during their school days.  I will deliver classroom instruction, provide practice, application of skills in multiple contexts to increase achievement, support and motivate them as they progress toward becoming lifelong readers and learners.
