Since the return to face to face instruction, there has been a decrease in the number of students and families taking advantage of the curbside meal delivery option. Daily we continue to see our student participation in face to face instruction at our campuses rise. As a result, October 23, 2020, will be the last day for daily curbside distribution of meals at our campuses. Starting October 26th, meals will be served at our campuses in either the school cafeteria or in classrooms. This is an effort to utilize our Child Nutrition staff as efficiently and effectively as possible to ensure we are accommodating the growing need of feeding students at our physical school locations.
JISD will continue to serve curbside meals at the following locations:
Judson High School,
Wagner High School,
Spring Meadows Elementary, and
Rolling Meadows Elementary
from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday.
In addition, we have been informed that the USDA funding for free meals for all JISD students has been extended through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. We look forward to continuing to serve your family during these challenging times. If you have any questions or concerns please contact your campus principal, so arrangements can be made to accommodate your family.
